House Fire Killed 4 Children in Zamfara
The Department of Fire Service in Zamfara on Wednesday confirmed the death of four children in a fire outbreak that occurred at Awala Filin-Jirgi in Gusau metropolis in the state.
Mr. Jibo revealed to reporters that the house that got burnt down belonged to a driver who works with the State Government House in Gusau
The four children, comprising two boys and two girls, were killed in the fire incident that occurred on Tuesday night.
Mr Jibo said “We received distress calls from the area on the fire around 10.00 p.m.
“Before we got to the place, the fire had already taken over the house; we exhausted four water tankers to control the disaster,”
He also added that the fire might have been sparked by a power surge in the home of the victims. He further implored the citizens of the states to comply at all times with safety guidelines to prevent any of such occurrences in the future.
