Done Deal- Shirt Number Assigned For Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang

It is no news Arsenal are closing in on signing Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before the end of the transfer window.

Mkhitaryan’s arrival is imminent, with the Armenia international set to swap Old Trafford for the Emirates as part of the deal that sees Alexis Sanchez move to Manchester United.

Aubameyang’s switch to north London is also in an advanced stage with reports claiming Borussia Dortmund’s President will be in London on Saturday to finalise deal for the Gabon international.

So if both deals for Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan go through before the end of the month, what shirt numbers could they be handed at the Emirates?

The most likely option for the Armenian would be to take the No.7 shirt which will have been vacated by Sanchez.

And Mkhitaryan could be handed the No.14, vacated by Theo Walcott, and No.15, previously worn by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
