Aisha joins the campaign against her husband’s incompetence in office
The First lady, on Friday, 19th January, 2018, shared on her verified Instagram page, various videos of members of the National Assembly (Senate), criticisng her husband on the recent atrocities that have faced the nation in recent times, including but not limited to incompetent cabinet members, favouritism, the Benue killings, and the refusal of the President to pay any attention to the various cries of the citizens of Nigeria.
This is not the first time the First Lady has out-rightly spoken or gone against her husband’s Presidency; as you would recall that in October 2016, she voiced out her concern that her husband’s government had been hijacked by a few individuals, on the Hausa service of the BBC.
The first video from OakTV that Mrs. Buhari shared today, showed Senator Misau at the floor of the Senate, on Thursday, condemning President Buhari for appointing “an incompetent person” as the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, NIA, among other issues raised.
The second video, also from OakTV, showed Senator Ben Bruce, who supported Mr. Misau’s stance, saying Nigeria is becoming lawless.
