See The Last Photo A Woman Took With Her Daughter Before Being Killed On Christmas Day
The last photo a woman took with her daughter before she was knifed to death on Christmas Day, has been revealed.
A young, heartbroken British lady identified as Charlotte, whose mum was stabbed to death on Christmas Day has shared the last photo taken of them together.
According to The Sun UK, Jayne Toal Reat died after allegedly being attacked by her boyfriend’s son Nathan Ward in the early hours of the morning, and died trying to protect daughter Charlotte.
Ward has also been charged with the attempted murders of Charlotte and his own father Joseph Tweedie.
In a heartbreaking tribute on Facebook, Charlotte, who bravely walked into court yesterday to see Ward appear in the dock charged with her mum’s murder, said: “My life is changed forever.”
She wrote: “This is the last picture I took with my beautiful mummy on Christmas Eve before we cuddled up together on the sofa for the last time.
“Just before she gave me her last kiss, her last hug and before she told me she loved me for the very last time.
“My mummy has been taken from me, her life was taken far too soon in the most cruel way.”
Incredibly, Charlotte only managed to get the photo after a friend screenshotted it for her on Snapchat, after she panicked that she would never have the touching last photo of her “angel” mum.
Yesterday Charlotte wept at court as she was held back and comforted by friends and relatives.
In emotional scenes, she leapt forward towards the dock, shouting “it’s not fair, it’s not fair”
.
She had earlier posted on Facebook that she had been stabbed twice in the head, saying: “Today will be a day I will never forget as my mum died in my arms.
“My mum died saving me, I was stabbed twice in the head once in my face and once to the back of my neck.”
Her 43-year-old Belfast mum, who was a nurse at Craigavon Area Hospital, died after the incident at a house in Northern Ireland.
