Land of Statues: Imo State Government set to commission another statue soon (See Photo)
Following subsequent statue projects being erected and commissioned in Imo State by the Governor Rochas Okorocha led administration, the State Government looks set to commission another statue.
According to reports reaching Edujandon, the statue is said to be that of President Nana Addo of Ghana. The State Government has turned deaf ears to the pleas and cries of the people and continued in her project of erecting and commissioning statues despite the rate of unpaid salaries and hunger in the state.
The Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha shunned critics by making his intentions of erecting and commissioning statues of African leaders known. He further buttressed the point of preserving culture as well as instilling hardwork and excellence in the minds and hearts of the upcoming generations.
