Los Angeles collective OverDoz. are set to drop their long-awaited major label debut album, 2008, next week on October 27. After records like the Pharrell-assisted “Last Kiss” and “District,” OverDoz. connects with fellow L.A. native Miguel on “Backstage.”A rock-infused up beat record, hear Kent, Cream, P and Joon’s latest offering as R&B Miggy holds down the song’s soulful hook.
Overdoz finally returned last week with their single ‘District’ and they waste no time with a followup single. The eclectic group teams up with Miguel for an interesting new single ‘Backstage’. This song has more a rock vibe to it then hip-hop, which is an interesting choice given the fact that the group is trying to claim a sound with a mainstream audience.
