Naira Appreciates in NAFEX
The naira, yesterday, appreciated further to N359.66 per dollar in the Investor and Exporter (I&E) Foreign Exchange, FX Window.
Data from the Financial Market Dealers Quote, FMDQ showed that the indicative exchange rate for the I & E Window, known as Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange, NAFEX dropped to N359.66 per dollar, yesterday, from Wednesday ’s closing market rate which stood at N359.96 per dollar.
This translated to the 30 kobo appreciation of the naira. Similarly, the naira, in the parallel market, yesterday, remained unchanged at N365 per dollar from the rate traded on Wednesday.
