Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score in Manchester United’s 3-0 win against Basel on his Champions League debut on Tuesday to continue an extraordinary record.

The 19-year-old striker followed up his strike against Stoke on Sunday with United’s third goal as Jose Mourinho’s men started their Champions League campaign with a victory.

That means the England international has now scored on his Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, League Cup, England Senior and England U21 bows.

In fact, Rashford’s goal in the Champions League Group A clash at Old Trafford means the youngster has only failed to find the back of the net on his FA Cup debut.

The frontman has hit the target on his debut in these following six fixtures for club and country…

Europa League v Midtjylland (h) – February 25, 2016

Rashford scored twice on his debut as Louis van Gaal’s side beat Midtjylland 5-1 to qualify for the last 16 of the Europa League with a 6-3 aggregate victory.

The forward struck twice in 12 second-half minutes to put the tie beyond the Danish champions at Old Trafford.

Premier League v Arsenal (h) – February 28, 2016

Rashford again scored twice, this time on his Premier League debut, to help United to a 3-2 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Just three days on from his Europa League debut double, the forward struck twice more inside four first-half minutes to help see off the Gunners.

Senior international v Australia (h) – May 27, 2016

Rashford netted just three minutes into his international debut as England beat Australia 2-1 at the Stadium of Light.

In the final friendly before then-England manager Roy Hodgson named his 23-man squad for Euro 2016, the striker became his country’s youngest-ever debutant scorer.

U21 v Norway U21 (h) – September 6, 2016

Rashford netted a hat-trick on his England U21 debut as Gareth Southgate’s team defeated Norway U21s 6-1 in their Euro 2017 Qualifier in Colchester.

The centre-forward scored against the run of play with a neat finish inside the area in the first half, while his deflected effort then looped into the top corner on 66 minutes, before he completed his hat-trick with a penalty moments later.

EFL Cup v Northampton (a) – September 21, 2016

Rashford came off the bench to seal United’s win against Northampton in the EFL Cup third round, taking advantage of a mistake by the home team’s goalkeeper to round off the scoring with 16 minutes to go at Sixfields.

Champions League v Basel (h) – September 12, 2017

Rashford came off the bench for his Champions League debut in the 77th minute and seven minutes later scored as United beat Basel 3-0.

The England international converted Marouane Fellaini’s cross to continue his excellent start to the season and make it three goals in three successive games for United.
