Check Out 5 Nollywood Actresses Who Found Love Again
So, I decided to make a post of these Nollywood celebrities who found love again after they lost their first marriages. the list comprise of Stella Damasus, Funke Akindele, Monalisa Chinda, Stephanie Okerere and Foluke Daramola.
Stella Damasus was married to late husband Jaiye Aboderin 12 years ago. Aboderin died on December 3rd, 2004 at 33 years of age while playing basketball with friends.
The singer had two children, Angelica and Isabela Abodurin with her late husband. She has since moved on and found love with movie director, Daniel Ademinokan who was formerly married to Doris Simeon.
Monalisa Chinda, was married to Dejo Richards and they had a daughter together, but the marriage packed up years ago due to irreconcilable differences.
The beautiful actress has since remarried, Tonye Coker, last year September.
Stephanie Okereke got married to a former Super Eagles’ player, Chikelue Iloenyosi in 2004. Eight years after, a Lagos High Court declared it null and void. Reason for their divorce was that at the time they got married, Iloenyosi was allegedly legally married to another woman in the United States.
However, luck smiled on the movie star again, and in April 2012, Okereke remarried. She wedded Linus Idahosa in Paris, France at a private ceremony that was attended by members of her family and scores of Nollywood actors. They
now have a son, Maxwell Enosata-Linus.
Funke Akindele got married to property magnate, Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede in 2012, but the marriage only lasted a year and few days before it packed up amidst controversies.
Luck smiled on the actress again. On Tuesday August 23, 2016, she tied the nuptial knots with rapper Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC in a secret wedding that took place in London and they are currently expecting their first child. JJC already has 3 children from 3 different women.
Foluke Daramola was once married to Babatunde Sobowale, son of former Lagos State Commissioner of Education, Professor Sobowale and they had two children together. Painfully, the
marriage, which lasted only three years (2005-2008), hit the brick walls on grounds of domestic violence.
Daramola has since remarried. She recently celebrated her second wedding anniversary with her new husband, Kayode Salako, while Sobowale too has given marriage a second chance.
