President Muhammadu Buhari Travels Again
President Muhammadu Buhari has on Wednesday arrived Katsina on his way to Daura, his hometown for the Eid-el-Kabir sallah celebration, Vanguard reports.
Buhari landed in the Nigerian Air Force Presidential jet 5N-FGT at about 4pm at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua international airport in Katsina state.
He was received at the airport by the state Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, other top government officials, Emirs of Katsina, Dr. Abdulmumini Kabir Usman and his counterpart from Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruq.
President Buhari after the airport ceremonies, proceeded to the helipad area of the airport where he boarded an helicopter to Daura, his hometown and where he is expected to spend the Sallah break.
The President’s arrival for the Sallah festivity was the first since his return from the medical vacation trip to the United Kingdom.
