Police Arrest 43-Year-old Man For Defiling Minors

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 43-year-old man for allegedly having carnal knowledge with three minors, aged nine and 12 years.

The man identified as Ini Udoh was accused of defiling the girls by luring them into his room under the pretense of sending them to run errands for him.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi explained that

“The Fathers of the three girls jointly made a report at Sango Police Station, upon which the Divisional Police Officer SP Akinsola Ogunwale detailed detectives to effect the arrest of the randy suspect.”

The three victims according to the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi have been taken to the General Hospital for medical attention and report.

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police CP Ahmed Iliyasu has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, for further investigation and possible prosecution of the suspect.

He also warned parents to always take the security and well-being of their children very serious especially the female ones, in order not to make them an easy prey in the hands of old predators who have been on the prowl in recent times.
