WizKid is heating up the summer , bringing Sounds From the Other Side to music lovers . The Nigerian star enjoyed breakout success in 2016 , assisting on Drake’s Billboard No. 1 smash-hit “One Dance .” After signing a lucrative deal with RCA Records earlier this year, The Starboy drops his third solo LP. Sounds From the Other Side is lead by big -name appearances by Drake ( “Come Closer” ) and Chris Brown (“African Bad Gyal”) .
The aim is not really to cross over,” WizKid recently told The Net. “I just want to make good music for the world . It’s really not in my mind to cross over to America . I have my own fan base, which is Africa . And I just want to keep feeding that fan base and hope it grows. .
