“I am very happy with the transfer to Slovan. After last season, I had different options, but clearly I decided to join Slovan. We’ve been communicating since January and I felt that the club really want me.
“I have played in Slovakia for two years (with previous club Trencin), so I know what this club (Bratislava) is in this country is. First of all, I have to work hard for the team and fight for a place in the starting line-up. I have the highest ambitions – winning matches and trophies in Belas jersey,” Ibrahim said.

We’ve always wanted him already during his time in Trencin. Initial negotiations with Gent, had been held since January this year. The negotiations with the club were very difficult and lengthy, but we have successfully finalized and signed Ibrahim on a four-year contract.
“We wanted to significantly strengthen the central position, so we decided to engage Rabiu, who in the middle will bring constructive and kick off the balance sheet. Ibrahim, welcome to Slovan and I believe that our cooperation will be successful.”
