Back in 2013 , The Alchemist teamed up with UK producer Budgie (who has since moved to L.A. and worked with the likes of Earl Sweatshirt, Knxwledge and Samiyam) for an album built entirely around gospel samples called The Good Book . Four years later, the producer pair have announced the sequel .
The Good Book Volume 2 — which stays true to the religious theme while boasting appearances from Mobb Deep, Royce 5’9″, Your Old Droog, Evidence , and many more. But it’s Action Bronson and Big Body Bes who open the service with the majestic/hilarious “ Brother Jedidiah .”.
