Wiz Khalifa puts his own personal mark on Drake’s “Passionfruit,” and to nobody’s surprise, it involves weed. The weedmix, which Wiz dropped in anticipation of Rolling Papers 2, finds Wiz spitting some laid back bars over the mellow instrumental. In hindsight, the “Passionfruit” beat does seem well suited for some weed-raps, with its low key vibe and beautiful chord progression.
With references to both Snoop Dogg and Bow Wow, Wiz namedrops both members of his group chat (as revealed this morning on Ebro), calling himself the “new Snoop” and reminiscing on getting smoked out at Demi Lovato’s party.
