Sports legend, Usain Bolt, has been pictured in tears as he attends his friend’s burial after his tragic death.

Usain Bolt, the sprinting legend was seen weeping behind his sunglasses as he attended the funeral of his friend and Team GB star Germaine Mason.

The icon helped dig the 34-year-old high jumper’s grave in Jamaica last week after he died in a motorbike accident on the Caribbean island.

According to The Sun UK, Bolt, 30, who was one of the first on the scene after the crash on April 20, was a pallbearer at the church service in Kingston on Sunday.

The Jamaican sprinter carried Mason’s coffin into the Hagley Park Seventh Day Adventist Church along with former Bolton footballer Ricardo Gardner and Tranmere player Ian Goodison.

Beijing games silver medallist Germaine, who was born in Jamaica, had been pals with the 100 metres and 200 metres world record holder since 2002.

Mason died on the spot after he lost control of his motorcycle while trying to swerve to avoid oncoming traffic in Kingston.

Bolt, who was part of the main convoy, was one of the first on the scene.

Mason won a silver medal for high jump at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and has been pals with Bolt since 2002.

The Jamaican posted a tribute to his friend shortly after the tragic accident.
