Drake Meets Nigerian-Born Pop Icon Sade Adu & Her Transgender Son Ila (Photos)
Drake is definitely basking in the success of his newly released album titled ‘More Life’ which has broken Spotify and Apple music records sales.
The songs garnered a whopping 89.9 million streams globally within the first 24 hours of the album release on Apple Music. And on Spotify, it swept in 61.3 million global streams, beating Ed Sheeran’s album Divide which got 57 million. Billboard adds that Drake is heading for number 1 on the Billboard 200 Album chart set to be released next week.
Drake took to his Instagram page to acknowledge two women who’ve had the most influence on him and his career, his beautiful mother and Nigerian-born pop icon, Sade Adu.
Drake also met with with Sade Adu’s transgender son, Ila.
