Buhari’s Tenure May End Democracy In Nigeria – Clergy
The President of Pentecostal Sanctuary Bible Ministries Worldwide, Prophet Sunday Iyunade has predicted a possible end to the reign of democracy in Nigeria after the administration of Muhammadu Buhari.
The prophet who had predicted the emergence of Donald Trump as the President of the United States of America, the recession being experienced in Nigeria among other prophesied that hardship in the country may continue for the next four years.
He said this in Ijebu-Ode while addressing newsmen at a press conference heralding the 21st anniversary and 15th convention of the Ministry , Prophet Iyunade called on Nigerians to pray against threats to democracy.
He said ” I had prophesied before the 2015 elections, some doubted, but, it came to pass. I told you about the first three month of enjoyment after Buhari’s election and what will happen in the remainder of his tenure which we are experiencing now .
“This government will work towards one party system. There is not much hope for democracy in this regime as we will not operate democratic system. For now, election has been suspended in Nigeria as the choice of the people will not be reflected on the throne.
“We need to pray for political stability and must pray against threat to political stability as there will be threats to democracy. We need to seriously pray for our governments and politics to survive as various new dimensions of crisis will emerge in this dispensation.
“The government will disorganise all the democratic strictures they met on ground and will set up another structure. The government will pocket Nigeria and rule with a mighty, powerful, iron and steel hand and very soon, Nigerians will ask God questions and many will moan under this government. This is because there will be a repeat of the Roman Empire rule in Nigeria.
“The government will depreciate the economy and power to rule.”
Speaking further, the prophet who highlighted the shortcomings of the government lamented that the Treasury Single Account has killed the Nigerian economy.
“The little Nigeria makes has been buried by putting all onto one account, TSA. The money that ought to be increasing has been decreasing in the account. The TSA has killed the Nigerian economy. The government has borrowed almost 14 trillion naira ever since they came to office”.
While rolling out prophesies, he said that the southern and southwestern Nigeria will experience marginalisation and plotical failure while the international bussiness profit will be trippled encouraging Nigerians to invest in foreign businesses.
Meanwhile, he said that the church has been praying for the President’s survival and completion of tenure, noting that everyone is prone to sickness.
He however, affirmed that no matter the efforts made by different regions, Nigeria will not break warning that any tribe that tries to break will go, into extinction.
