The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, has quite a big family – three wives, Sadiya Ado Bayero, Maryam, and Rakiya, and twelve children. Last year, Sanusi married Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa as his fourth wife.
