Nigeria’s Super Falcons will play South Africa’s Bayana Bayana, in the semi-final of the Africa Women Cup of Nations after beating Kenya 4-0 in their last group B game.

Ghana posted a 3-1 win over Mali and will now face hosts Cameroon in the other semi-final game billed for Tuesday. The Super Falcons finished the group levelled on seven points with Ghana, but had the edge with a plus 10 goals difference.

The Super Falcons didn’t have to sweat much against the Harambee Starlets yesterday at the Limbe Stadium. Ngozi Akobi opened scoring with a well take shot from inside the box in the early part of the game, while Faith Ikidi doubled the scores just before the break.

The Super Falcons pressed the Kenyans for more goals, but they defender well. However, a through pass from Halimat Ayinde set Asisat Oshoala free in the box, she sold a dummy and picked her spot and slotted home her fifth goals of the tournament. Desire Oparanozie came from the bench to kill off any desire by the Kenyans to fight back.
