Teenage Girl’s Death Prompts ‘Purple Ninja Turtle’ Ecstasy Warning
Police have issued a warning about ecstasy tablets after the death of a 16-year-old girl.
The girl became ill and died after attending a house party in Newtongrange, Midlothian, Scotland, on Saturday.
Police say the investigation is at an early stage but have warned about two types of ecstasy tablets.
The two tablets are known as Red Bugatti Veyron and Purple Ninja Turtle.
Anyone who has taken these tablets is urged to seek immediate medical attention.
Those in possession of the tablets should not take them, police say.
Anyone who has any information regarding these drugs is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
