Idowu Oyedeji, a graduate of Geography from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Osun State will be forever be grateful to God over her survival of a deadly road-crash that left her in a state of coma on a lengthy note and disfigured her charming looks.

The beautiful and bubbly Idowu Oyedeji who is happily married suffered taste of hell in a near-death experience in May, 2016 when she was involved in a motor accident that left the vehicle mangled beyond repair.

The damsel sustained massive injuries on her face, neck and chest region in the course of the accident while the other occupants sustained bruises and no death.

The Customer Service worker of the United Bank of Bank of Africa, UBA in Lagos was left unconscious on a lengthy note while friends, sympathizers and family members extended spiritual, moral and financial help to her.

She recently recovered from the accident that scalded her beautiful and ever-radiant face. She has consequently lost her left eye while other parts of her body remain intact. Her Facebook page has since the announcement of her recovery as well as pictorial story of her predicament become the ‘altar of testimonies’ as friends and well-wishers troop in in droves.

On the 13th of June, 2016, her husband – Eyiaro Orimisan Abamiyo shared this message on her Facebook page to cushion the tension among her friends who were not directly in touch with her:

“Thanks to everyone (friends, colleagues, family and church members) for ur prayers and support, morally and financially, from when the accident happened till now . My wife is getting better and stronger to the glory of God. By God’s grace , she would walk out of the hospital whole, complete and fully restored in Jesus name. Pls remember us in ur daily prayers for God to perfect everything concerning her and the family. The devil already lost.

In all these things, we are more than conquerors…..”

On recovery, Idowu Oyedeji also wrote this alongside the uploaded pictures:

“Though words fail me, I just have to say something. I want to show my appreciation and thanks to everyone; friends, family and even those who don’t know me personally, for your tremendous support during my lowest point and darkest hour.”

“It was truly overwhelming and I know that there is indeed nothing in the world that I can repay everyone with but from the deepest part of my heart, the unexplainable emotions known to man and the space of eternity, I want to say THANK YOU.”

“Eventhough I was mostly unconscious at the hospital, I felt the wave of prayers, support and love in everyway and I’m eternally grateful. And to the King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, only Wise God, be all my thanks and adoration forever and ever, The one without whom I would not be here today.”

.

“The life we have is very precious and we should always be thankful for it because I have come to know firsthand the thin line between life and death. I love you all so much. This would never be enough but thank you once again. Pls kindly share

#MyJourneyToRecovery.”

A family member of the beautiful lady shared the video of the ill-fated vehicle that conveyed the victim on the day of the mishap with a touching message below:

“This is to say a big thank you to everyone for your prayers & continuous support towards our sister, Idowu Oyedeji. This Video is not for sympathy but just to show the world how Merciful & Faithful God is. These two weeks have been the most difficult & heartbreaking phase of our lives having to watch my sister in critical condition struggle daily to stay alive after their car got hit by a drunk driver who faced their one-way drive while they were coming back from redemption camp”

The blood in this car all belongs to my sister. I broke down constantly in tears every single day seeing her in that condition. I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. It felt like a part of me was going to tear apart. Her husband (who drove) & his friend were at the front seat survived with bruises. My sister who was at the back seat suffered more as she didn’t have a seat belt on & was asleep when the accident occurred. (Guys, the back seat belt in a car is as important as that of the front- May God keep us away from harm #SafetyFirst) Death came so close to my family but God who is the keeper of life gave us total victory for the covenant we have with HIM is that of life and not of untimely death. The surgeries were successful & she is now out of ICU. Trusting God for speedy recovery & total restoration. Special thanks to all the friends and family who stayed close during this time. Thank you for being there. God bless you so much. #PraisesUp #KeeperOfLife #WayMaker #ThankYouGod”
