Ace model and Nollywood screen diva, Lilian Bach, has joined million of other Nigerians to preach against domestic violence, saying the trend in most homes in the country is becoming worrisome.

In a chat recently, the screen queen who has been off the screen for some years now, said that domestic violence had, to some extent, become a normal thing in the country as it happens in almost every home on a daily basis.

In her words: “In this country, we have had so many cases of husbands killing their wives and vice versa. I don’t really know what is happening in the country, not just in this country but all over the world. Some people are too temperamental they take actions before they even reason at all. But no matter what, I don’t think domestic violence is the best way to settle issues. It is not a good thing so we should stop it because we are not animals. Dialogue is still the best way to settle issues. We should learn how to settle amicably not with knives and guns”

Speaking on her absence from the movie scene, she said, “For now I have not on set for any movie but I am producing some soap operas. For now, I am taking a break from movie production until piracy stops. I am not going to put my money where I cannot get my capital back, not to talk of profit. If I am called to act in a movie, I will do that but in terms of me producing my own home videos as a producer, I am taking a break from that because piracy is real and it is ruining Nollowood. We can’t keep quiet about it any longer. For soap operas, I am going to be dealing with TV stations and corporate companies.
