You Are A Pathetic Liar for Deceiving Us On Buhari's Health – Nigerians Blast Femi Adesina
Nigerians have descended on Buhari’s special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina for his blatant lies after he rubbished claims that Buhari is sick only for him to eat his own words.
President Muhammadu Buhari’s special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina has been labeled, a pathetic liar and a man who cannot be trusted. This is coming after he bluntly refuted claims that the president was sick only for him to come a few days later to still say that the president is sick and would proceed on a 10-day sick leave.
On Saturday, it was reported that the president was sick, and is being treated at the presidential villa, Abuja. But, Femi Adesina appeared from nowhere to release a statement discrediting news reports saying that the president is as fit as a fiddle.
He said:
“Didn’t you see pictures of him receiving Anglican bishops yesterday (Friday)? Did he look sick? The president is as fit as a fiddle. Anyone who says he is sick is telling lies.
“That is a figment of the person’s imagination. Just yesterday he received the primate of the Anglican Communion and arch bishops at the presidential villa. He also received former President Olusegun Obasanjo. He is hale and hearty. The imagination of whoever says that is on overdrive,” Femi said.
But on Sunday, Femi released another statement saying: “President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday June 6th to rest.
“During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T. specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated. Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution.”
