Indeed the saying that “what a man can do, woman can do it better” is true. This has been practically proven, as APC Enugu State Chapter, produced the first woman state political party chairman in the history of Nigerian politics. Chief Mrs Joy Ebe, whom emerged as the interim state chairman of APC, Enugu state Chapter, in febuary 2015 and was handed the staff of authority by the executive governor of Imo state, his excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
She nutured Enugu state APC from scratch and from nothing to something before she handed over to her successor Dr Ben Nwoye after the state congress. Indeed, APC has proved to be a political party that gave women chances, and has created a history yet unbeaten. And so Nigerian women looks forward to occupying more credible and influencial positions as president muhammed Buhari gives his ambassadorial, board, agencies and commissions appointment.
The women, mostly the women of Enugu state APC chapter waits patiently in anticipation, and implore Mr President to honour and celebrate
their role model Mrs Joy Ebe (chairman Emeritus) with a key position as he appoints people into board, agencies and commissions.
