"T.B. Joshua Made Me Accept Defeat In The 2015 Election" – Ex- President Jonathan
Ambassador Raphael Horsfall, a former Special Assistant to Professor Rufai Alkali, the former political adviser of former President Goodluck Jonathan, has revealed why there was peace following the announcement of PDP’s defeat in 2015 presidential election. Speaking at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Lagos, Horsfall told the congregation of how T.B Joshua revealed the results of the elections to him weeks before voting took place. He narrated how he was sent to Jonathan to deliver the unpleasant news that he will be defeated in the election.
“He told me categorically that I should go and tell Mr President that it is too late, that nothing can be done, that we will lose the election but God will prevail on the peace of Nigeria,” he said. “That is why when we lost elections, I was at peace,” he added. “Mr President was calm after hearing that word from Prophet T.B. Joshua. Everyone was telling him to annul the election, which he had the power to do, but nobody knew this is actually the reason why His Excellency conceded defeat to the opposition,” Horsfall revealed. Horsfall also revealed that Joshua had offered spiritual guidance to former and late president Umaru Musa Yar-Adua in respect to the Niger Delta militancy which was threatening to tear the nation apart. He stated that he first came in contact with the cleric in 2009 when he was a member of a team that consulted the spiritual leader on how to tackle the Niger-Delta militancy. “The guidance he gave to us, which we communicated to the then President, His Excellency Umaru Musa Yar-Adua, was what led to the Amnesty Program which Nigerians and the entire people of the region are enjoying presently,” he said. Horsfall implored Nigerian leaders to seek spiritual guidance for the problems of the nation.
