Atletico Madrid have launched a €45 million (£34.2m) bid for Chelsea forward Diego Costa.
AS claim that Diego Simeone has ordered the club to make a final push for their former striker in a meeting last Thursday, although Chelsea have rejected the offer.
It’s also reported that Atletico are willing to use Jackson Martinez as part of the offer, but Chelsea would not entertain a swap deal.
It’s claimed that Roman Abramovich is unwilling to sell his top striker, who has found form following Jose Mourinho’s exit in December, scoring six goals in his last six appearances.
