Ahamed Musa Hits Brace in 10-goal Thriller

Ahmed Musa continued his rich vein of form as he netted a double in CSKA Moscow’s stunning 6-4 win away to Mordovya Saransk on Sunday.
Musa’s brace helped the Army club consolidate top spot in the Premier League in Russia as the competition reached match day nine.
CSKA had gone 0-3 down in the first half following goals from Evgeniy Lutsenko, Vladimir Rykov and Russian Mukhametshin.
The leaders however launched a stirring fightback and were level inside 59 minutes after goals by the visitors from Kirill Panchenko, Zoran Tošic and Seydou Doumbia.
Musa provided the assist for Doumbia’s goal that levelled matters at 3-3.
Mordovya Saransk however took the lead yet again in the 68th minute through Lutsenko who completed his brace but Musa was soon to take the initiative.
He equalized for the visitors in the 80th minute after Doumbia returned the earlier favour with an intelligent assist.
The Nigerian was to give CSKA the lead for the first time in the rip roaring contest in the 85th minute as he rifled home from a cross with Vassili Berezutski the provider this time round.
Doumbia was to round off the scoring two minutes from the end but it was Musa who hogged the headlines for his electrifying performance in the game which fans of both clubs will not forget in a hurry.
Musa has now scored five league goals this season and eight in all competitions for CSKA.
