Nicki Minaj Reacts to Miley Cyrus 'Anaconda' Pics
“Give me one good reason…” the YMCMB Barbie tweets about the “We Can’t Stop” singer’s new avi.
Miley Cyrus loves female rappers. She was Lil Kim last Halloween, and through the magic of Photoshop, Cyrus has become Nicki Minaj.
The pop star Instagrammed three doctored “Anaconda” covers over the weekend, with her face above Minaj’s body. One of the images, titled “Hannah-Conda,” depicts Cyrus as her old Disney character.
Cyrus enjoyed her posterior transformation so much that she made one of the photos her Twitter avatar. It’s hard to tell if Minaj was flattered, annoyed, or just confused by the pictures. She wrote, “Give me one good reason why Cyrus made this her Twitter avi #AncaondaOniTunes,” next to one image, and captioned the “Hanna-Conda” photo the “No Chill Zone!”
“Ancadonda” memes have been popping up all over the ‘Net since the single’s artwork came out. Kermit the Frog, Drake, Marge Simpson and Lauryn Hill have all gotten a Minaj-makeover online, and she seems to like some of them. “I saw Kermit the Frog the other day and I was like, ‘No they didn’t,'” she told Hot 97. “I saw a lot of them but that one was one of them that stuck out, and of course Marge Simpson.”
The trio of Miley photos netted a combined 1.2 million likes on Instagram.
The “Anaconda” single topped the iTunes charts, making Minaj the first female rapper to have a No. 1 solo single, and the only female rapper to simultaneously take second place courtesy of “Bang Bang,” her collaboration with Ariana Grande and Jessie J.
