Manchester United Thrash Real Madrid 3-1 To Advance Into The Champions Cup Final

Ashley Young was the unlikely hero for Manchester United as the winger struck twice in the first half during their 3-1 victory against Real Madrid in the Guinness International Champions Cup.
Louis van Gaal’s side took the lead midway through the first half when Ashley Young provided a clinical finishing touch to a superbly-worked move involving Danny Welbeck, Darren Fletcher and Wayne Rooney.
Madrid equalised minutes later from the spot, former Spurs man Gareth Bale winning and then firing the penalty past David de Gea, but United were back ahead before the break when Young’s deep cross towards Rooney bounced and flew past Iker Casillas into the far corner.
Well that’s United through after two goals from Young and one from Hernandez, with Bale scoring Real’s goal from the penalty spot. No wins for Real at all on this tour. United reach the final and will play Liverpool
