TABOO: Mother and Daughter Fight Over Boyfriend In Delta

A 42-year-old mother, simply identified as Monica, and her 17-year-old daughter engaged in a free for all fight, over a man in Asaba, Delta state.
According to Leadership report, the incident took place around St. Brigid’s Girls College, Asaba on Sunday afternoon.
The mother had allegedly snatched her daughter’s boyfriend who works in one of the oil companies in Warri.
Trouble started when the girl heard her mother had been caught pants down with the boyfriend at a hotel. She became more furious when the boyfriend started acting strangely towards her.
She then confronted her mother and was said to have called her a shameless woman and a prostitute, who drove the father out of the house with her unbridled quest for sex.
The duo were said to have thrown caution to the wind, exchanging blows in public.
As they fought themselves in public, motorists on the popular busy road stopped to watch what they described as a show of shame.
A relative of the woman, who pleaded anonymity, blamed her sister for her actions, saying she was a disappointment to women folk, especially mothers.
