Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau has claimed responsibility for two ghastly bombings launched on June 25 in Abuja and Lagos.

According to Vanguard, this is contained in a new video seen by AFP this Sunday morning.

Blast in “filthy Abuja” (as referred to in the video by Shekau) occurred at the overcrowded Emba Plaza located in the country capital and claimed at least 21 lives. The bomb was planted in a car, which indicated the explosion was organized as an intentional act.

Meanwhile as for the tragedy which rocked the ever-busy Creek Road, Apapa, Lagos, on the very same day, at a fuel depot, the authorities tried to cover it up as an industrial accident caused by accidental explosion.

However the security sources later claimed it was launched by a suicide bomber. This was confirmed in the today’s video in which Shekau allegedly said:

“I ordered (the bomber) who went and detonated it.
