Students of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) have called on the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to investigate it’s Student Union Government(SUG).
According to the students the call was necessitated due to the recent activities in the school.

Following this there have being out cry from students of the institution calling on the SUG to speak up for them, but it seems no help was coming as it was said to be in the tradition of the school to ‘settle‘ it’s SUG before embarking on such harsh decisions.
One of the student who spoke with Vanguard reportedly said:
“I find it very hard and embarrassing that we the students will be passing through such unnecessary punishment from the school, and the so called good for nothing SUG whom we voted in, can’t even speak up for us.”
Another student who refused to disclose his name said:
“I believe that the school have bribed the SUG,if not why haven’t they come out to address the students. If a parent manage to pay N124,000 late what do you think is the cause? Do they think that adding extra N15,000 will make things better? ”
