Angry parents storm JAMB office to protest the unbelievable low scores their children had in the 2025 JAMB exam (video)
A group of angry Nigerian parents gathered outside the JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) office on May 13, 2025, to protest what they described as “unfairly low scores” their children received in the 2025 UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination).

The protest, captured in a video shows visibly frustrated parents demanding explanations and answers. According to reports, the outcry is linked to the recent announcement by JAMB that 39,834 results have been withheld over suspected examination malpractices.
The backlash mirrors a familiar pattern of dissatisfaction with JAMB’s processes. Historical data shows that in previous years, a high percentage of candidates—up to 78% in 2022—scored below 200 out of 400, fueling doubts about the integrity of the examination system.
This year’s tension has been further amplified by trending social media campaigns like #ThisIsNotMyResult, where candidates and parents allege that the published scores do not reflect the students’ actual performance.
