“This is creativity” – UNIBEN students turns heads on costume day as they recreate Adam and Eve, corpse bride outfits & others (Video)

Students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) have captivated attention with their jaw-dropping outfits during their costume day celebration, as captured in a viral TikTok video.

The event, an annual tradition in the institution, saw students pulling out all the stops to deliver an unforgettable display of artistry, humor, and ingenuity.

This year’s Costume Day was marked by several standout appearances that left onlookers and fellow students in awe.

A pair of students dressed in carefully designed leafy costumes to replicate the biblical characters Adam and Eve. Their outfits sparked conversations about the fine line between creativity and controversy, with many applauding their boldness and attention to detail.

Another student gained attention online after she recreated a gothic bridal ensemble as a corpse bride, inspired by the Tim Burton classic. The intricate makeup, complete with skeletal accents and a flowing dress, captured the eerie beauty of the beloved character.

Other costumes include a convict, a lawyer, a pilot, police, a pregnant woman, Aladdin, Nun, an engineer, newlywed couple and lots more.
