“How I was warned against getting pregnant” – Debbie Shokoya shares, after welcoming first child

Debbie Shokoya has finally opened up on her pregnancy journey after welcoming her first child a year after losing a pregnancy.



In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she revealed that she first thought she lost but God was planning the best for her.

She recalled how her doctors warned her against getting pregnant that month because she had high prolactin, but God turned it to pregnancy.

According to Debbie, the devil tried using her trauma against her on her journey but God was standing by her and He blessed her beyond how she could describe it

Promising to share more on her YouTube, she told her fans that God works and they should believe and trust him. Debbie wrote:

A week ago, Debbie Shokoya became a first-time mum as she welcomed a baby girl with her husband. The good news was made known by her colleagues, who couldn’t hold back their joy.

On Friday, Debbie Shokoya and her husband held a naming ceremony for their daughter, which had in attendance Dayo Amusa and others. Debbie in an Instagram post, revealed her daughter’s name, Khairat Ayokunmi Ejalonibu.

The birth of her first child is coming a year after she lost her pregnancy. In August 2023, that Debbie Shokoya in an emotional video on her Instagram page, tearfully recounted how she lost her pregnancy at eight months.
