“I know I messed up” – Singer Dammy Krane apologizes to Nigerians following his release from police custody
Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, better known as Dammy Krane, has apologized to Nigerians following his release from police custody.

It can be recalled that Dammy Krane was arrested on August 22 for allegedly defaming his colleague, Davido.
The controversy started when he accused Davido of being involved in the death of their mutual friend, Tagbo. He also made allegations about Davido’s personal life, claiming that the singer was only getting married because his fiancée, Chioma, had caught him cheating.
Following these accusations, Davido’s legal team demanded that Dammy Krane retract his statements within 24 hours and refrain from making further defamatory comments.
Last week, reports emerged that Dammy Krane had been arrested and was facing potential criminal charges for his statements. However, in a turn of events, Davido chose to drop all charges against him, leading to Dammy Krane’s release.
Following his release, Dammy Krane expressed his gratitude and apologized to Davido.
In his latest post via his X handle, he publicly tendered his apology to Nigerians over his actions. He wrote, “I WANT TO APOLOGIZE TO NIGERIANS FOR THE NEGATIVE ENERGY I HAVE PUT UP ON THE MEDIA BEFORE TODAY I KNOW ALOT WAS EXPECTED OF ME BUT I MESSED UP,I WISH I CAN TAKE BACK THE HAND OF TIME BUT ONLY GOD CAN,SO I WILL DO WHAT I CAN WHICH IS TO APOLOGIZE”.
“I AM SORRY ABOUT EVERYTHING,TO MY FANS(I hope I still have fans lol) To my fans if I still have I AM SORRY MOVING ON EXPECT GOOD MUSIC FROM ME AND MUSIC ONLY #LOVEALWAYSLEADS”
