Man arrested with human skull and bones in Abuja, reveals he intended to sell them for N600,000

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested one Nuhu Ezra of Gosa, Lugbe, Abuja, with a human skull and bones.



Spokesperson of the command, SP Josephine Adeh, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, said the suspect claimed he picked up the parts from a bush while hunting and intended to sell them for N600,000.

The suspect was arrested by operatives of the command attached to the Iddo police division after credible intelligence.

“Upon interrogation, the suspect stated that he picked them up from the bush while hunting and intended to sell them for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000),” the statement read.

“CP FCT orders thorough investigation to ascertain the bearer of the body parts, the intended buyer, if the suspect killed anyone to be in possession of the body parts, and how long the suspect has been in the alleged business.”

The CP urged residents to be wary of their environment and report suspicious activities to the police.
