“It’s a miracle having kids with spinal cord injury, it’s one out of a hundred” – Yinka Ayefele Lament

Nigerian gospel music star, Yinka Ayefele, who is restricted to a wheelchair, has said that having children despite his spinal cord injury still remains a miracle.

The ‘Ti Oluwa Nile’ singer said that any man with spinal cord injury might not be able to impregnate a woman, however, his case was different and rare.

Ayefele made the remark when he appeared as a guest on ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ programme hosted by content creator, Bae U.

He debunked speculation that he is not the biological father of his children and may have adopted them. The gospel artiste clarified that he impregnated his wife and she gave birth to their triplets.

His music career began in 1997 shortly after he was involved in a ghastly vehicle crash that left him paralyzed due to a damage to his spinal cord.

In a video from the interview, Bae U asked; “I’m shocked you said you have three beautiful and amazing kids. My question is, how did you do it?”

Ayefele replied; “How did I do what? Curious that I impregnated my wife? How did I get three kids? You would have seen pregnant women before. I impregnated my wife and she got pregnant and had triplets.

“You thought I bought them? I don’t understand what you mean. I know you are curious, you want to talk about my spinal cord injury. Anybody who has a spinal cord injury might not be able to impregnate a lady. Yeah, it’s a fact, it’s one out of a hundred.”
