Timini Egbuson was nominated in the ‘best supporting actor’ category with his explicit roles in Funke Akindele’s ‘A Tribe called Judah’ but was unfortunately edged out by Demola Adedoyin’s outstanding performance in Breath of Life.

The best supporting actor award category features Timini Egbuson (A Tribe Called Judah), Levi Chikere (Blood Vessel), Ropo Ewenla (Over the Bridge), Alexx Ekubo (Afamefuna), Demola Adedoyin (Breath of Life), Ibrahim Yekini (Jagun Jagun: The Warrior) and Gregory Ojefua (This is Life).

Following his loss, the 36-year-old took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) as he shared a meme of himself looking so surprised.

It can be recalled that The 2024 AMVCA held at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos on Saturday was a night of celebration and recognition for outstanding achievements in African film and television.
