“A woman I married with my hard earned money has refused to wash my clothes and she knows how busy I am” – Nigerian man cries out, seeks advise

A man has called out his wife who has refused to wash his clothes despite paying her bride price in full.

In a post shared on Facebook, the man identified as Chinedu Song said he was in pain over the incident.

According to him, he married her and paid in full with his money and sees no reason she shouldn’t wash his clothes.

“Am in pains right now. A woman I married with my hard earned money has refused to wash my clothes and she knows how busy I am,” he said.

Carissa reacted: “If I marry, I fit no border my wife for one day to wash my cloths for me cos na small thing for me, I fit even dey wash my wife cloths if she’s such a darling…. All this things means nothing men, sometimes support this women at home, it means nothing, and it will take nothing away from you, besides we are the masculine genders and we have to be a full supporter of our wife except you don’t really love her or she’s not behaving rightfully.”

Ogo reacted: “She is not your house help .Until you begin to see her as your wife,a friend and a partner . I will advice you to swallow pride .E too dey your body. Oga,is the money in foreign currency?”

Ify UC added: “Am just seeing many comments here saying they lady is not his slave… for me is the woman duty to wash her husband clothes don’t tell me that the man will go out in the morning to hustle if he comes back he will start to wash his clothes is not possible when he provides for the family is not fair nah.”
