Fires razes whole section of Idumota Market, as buildings collapsed live on air.
A fire incident has been reported at the popular section of Lagos Island, Idumota Market, on Tuesday 09/04/2024.
The fire was due to a generator explosion. However, firefighters were not in sight at the time of filing the report. Authorities have also not commented on the incident
A social media user Adunni also shared updates about the fire incident on his X handle and wrote, “The fire keeps going up. People are running for safety”.
