“Love is truly blind” – 24-year-old man set to marry 80-year-old lover (Video)

A 24-year-old Tanzanian man, identified as George is set to marry his lover named Catherine Thomas, who is 80 years old.

A video circulating online captured the heartwarming moment George went on his knee as he asked the octogenarian woman’s hand in marriage and she responded positively.

Documenting their love story, the couple proved that age is just a number as they publicly expressed affection for one another.

Despite having more than 55 years age different, George was always seen with Catherine, showering her love and care.

In the video shared by Afrimax, Catherine revealed that she is a mother of 5 lost her husband a while ago and she needed to be loved. As she continued with her day to day activities, she met George who is a school dropout and a boda boda rider.
