A yet to be ascertained news is trending online that the Wife of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hajia Nana Shettima has rejected an “unmarried police orderly” that was assigned to her in request for a married police orderly. People are submitting mixed reactions to this..
While some netizens support that Hajia Nana Shettima was right to decide on who she may wants to work with, many netizens suggested that Hajia Nana was proactive in preventing domestic competition with her officer.
Many of the contributors to the news development claimed that Hajia Nana was only exercising her rights, and that her decision showed that she is a “smart wife”. Her supporters maintains that Hajia Nana was proactive in minimizing unnecessary distractions and/or possible competition. Another submission from one of the supporters of Hajia Nana stated that “Self preservation is the first law of nature!”
Many contributors are of the opinion that the matter does not affect governance and that the Police Orderly was rejected and not sacked, so the matter should not be treated as a big deal.
However, those who seem to be opposed to Hajia Nana Shettima’s decision on the unmarried Police orderly suggested that the decision was triggered by fear and envy, and that the beauty of the Police Officer could have fired more shots of uncertainties
