Groom receives car, other expensive items from bride’s family in Onitsha (Video below)

A Nigerian man has shared a video online which shows the truckload of gifts a woman and her family gave her husband-to-be.

The groom received a new car, bags, freezer, gas cooker, pots and a variety of other household items.

The person making the clip could be heard expressing shock at what the groom got from his wife’s family.

He said the traditional payment rite happened in Onitsha, Anambra state.

Speaking in Igbo language, he stated that the family one marries into must be rich, but if people decide to marry a family where there is chaos then the person will have their self to blame.
