“First wife is mourning and husband posted a video of 2nd wife Jubilating, your silence on Yul’s marital crisis is worrisome” – Uche Maduagwu tells Pete Edochie
In a recent post on social media, Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has called on his senior colleague, Pete Edochie, to intervene in his son’s marriage issues.
Maduagwu expressed his concern about the silence of Edochie, who is known for his traditional values and principles.
Maduagwu specifically referred to a recent incident where Edochie’s son posted a video on social media celebrating the safe delivery of his child with his second wife while the first wife was mourning the death of their son.
The controversial actor stated that such a situation is unprecedented in Igbo culture and traditions and called on Edochie to speak to his son.
He wrote:
‘Dear Sir PETE, your continuous SILENCE on this matter is unbelievably Worrisome, talk to your Pikin. Never in the History of African Culture, especially in the IGBO Tradition has something like this happened that 1st IYAWO go Dey Mourn her Pikin, and Husband go post video of 2nd IYAWO Jubilating and Thanking God for safe Delivery of her Pikin, is this a JOKE or what?’
