Actress, Mercy Aigbe finally confirms her conversion from Christianity to Islam, reveals her new name

Popular Nigerian actress, Mercy Aigbe has confirmed her conversion to Islam after so many months of speculation from many of her fans.

The 45-year-old actress also revealed her Islamic name at a Ramadan lecture and special prayers hosted by herself and her husband, Kazeem Adeoti.

The multi-talented actress made this known through a video currently making waves on social media sites According to the video, She said “Insha Allah, My new name is Hajia Meenah Mercy Adeoti. Meenah with the H,”

The veteran actress also had some of her Muslim colleagues in attendance as the likes of Femi Adebayo, Fathia Williams, Kemi Afolabi, Adebayo Salami, and others were in attendance at the Ramadan lecture and special prayer event on Saturday.
