Why I am almost certain it didn’t happen – Foluke Daramola hits back at Yeni Kuti (Video)

Foluke Daramola, a Nollywood actress, has replied to Yeni Kuti, a media personality.

On Wednesday, Edujandon.com revealed that Yeni Kuti described how Foluke Daramola treated her badly in the past while appearing on the “Your View” programme.

Foluke responded to her claims by saying she doesn’t believe the event ever happened.

The actress stated that Yeni Kuti’s accusation was untrue because she never treats her partner disrespectfully, let alone an elderly person.

She did, however, personally speak with the media personality, and their differences are now resolved.

Foluke continued by quoting a Yoruba proverb that suggests that since she wasn’t the victim of the event, she might have forgotten about it. But she is confident that the event never took place.*

“Goodmorning everybody. I am coming online to do this short talk because some of my colleagues and my friends have called me and tagged me on the interview Aunty Yeni Kuti did on ‘Your View’ allegating that I was rude to her years ago.

First and foremost, I have to come online to do this because she made the allegation public though I have spoken with her privately , we have sorted things out and I have apologised.

Being rude to people that are my age isn’t in my character, talk less those that are older than me and Aunty Yeni is someone I hold in high esteem.

I am almost certain it didn’t happen. Although, I am not here to argue if it happened or didn’t”.
