Super Eagles suffer shocking defeat to Guinea Bissau in Abuja
The Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to get a win against the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers match played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Friday, March 24.
The Nigerian national team conceded a goal in the 29 minutes of the game and failed to score despite having more stars on the pitch.
Guinea Bissau’s victory on Friday, is the first time they will be defeating Nigeria in any match.
The three-time African champions began their chase for a 20th Africa Cup of Nations appearance with a 2-1 victory over Sierra Leone 2-1 at the MKO Abiola Stadium before thrashing Sao Tome and Principe 10-0 on matchday2 with Victor Osimhen scoring four of the goals.
