Naval officers storm police station, beat up policemen (Video below)
A team of navy officers invaded a police station in Delta state and descended on the police officers who were on duty.
Edujandon.com learnt that the incident happened on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Enerhen police station in Warri area of the state.
There was tension in the area when the personnel of Nigerian Navy started assaulting the officers of Divisional Police Headquarters as it led to sporadic gunshots, forcing business owners to quickly shut down while other residents fled to safety.
Sources disclosed that a newly commissioned Naval officer led his colleagues to the Police station to set free a colleague earlier arrested by Police.
A video making the rounds online shows policemen begging when a senior officer known as Kingsley, who sustained injuries decided to fight back.
One of the police officers could be heard threatening to use teargas to force the navy officers to leave the vicinity.
